Our Lineage
The jade remained. The story had disappeared.
Our Heirloom Piece began with one inherited bangle and a question: how do we help the next generation receive not only the object, but the meaning held around it?
The founder’s story
It began with a bangle and a missing chapter.
As a child, our founder watched her grandmother carefully examine jade brought by a travelling merchant. Her grandmother later gave her a small bangle—an early gift that was eventually lost.
Years later, after her grandmother passed away, she inherited one of her bangles. The jade remained, but the details did not: why it was chosen, when it was worn, what it meant and what blessing was intended for the next generation.

Our Heirloom Piece was created so a future recipient can receive both: a meaningful piece and the family history that gives it life.
What follows from that story

We cannot recover every lost detail. We can be honest about what is known, preserve what the family chooses to share and build a responsible path forward.

Family stories and Legacy Letters belong to the member account, not to a public product catalogue.
Continuity with consent
Transfer and succession should be deliberate, verified and reviewed—not triggered by possession of an ID alone.
Ancient material, modern stewardship
A physical heirloom needs a retrievable memory.
Jade can survive its first owner. Paper can be separated from the piece, names can be forgotten and devices can be lost. The OHP Heirloom ID and private OHP Legacy Vault create a structured point of continuity without making the family story public.

Our working standard
Care must be operational.
A beautiful story is not enough. The public shop, private OHP Legacy Vault and back-office inventory need clear roles so product updates do not alter member security—and theme updates do not overwrite customer records.

Represent the piece, price, stock and available documentation item by item.

Use the OHP Heirloom ID as a record reference, never as the member’s password.
03 · Protect
Keep private member data inside the OHP Legacy Platform rather than the visual theme.
04 · Review
Handle transfer, recovery and sensitive support requests with human verification.
