What it safeguards

One family-level OHP Legacy Vault™ can hold multiple heirloom records under one authenticated member account. Each heirloom keeps its own encrypted life-and-memory timeline, OHP Legacy Wishes, evidence and Guardian Chapters. An OHP Member ID identifies the account; it never replaces the password.
Blessing record
The stated intention, date and notes can be preserved without making guaranteed spiritual claims.
Life & Memory Timeline
Multiple stories, milestones, Legacy Messages and blessing memories can be encrypted, versioned and digitally sealed without replacing their earlier history.
Care & renewal
Care notes, condition observations and significant renewal milestones can be added to the living record.
Legacy Letter
Write and revise a private letter, then digitally seal it when it is ready to become read-only and tamper-evident.
OHP Legacy Wishes
Family, chosen-person, charitable or future pathways can be versioned and sealed while remaining separate from legal ownership.
Messages and files
Permitted photographs, documents, voice recordings and videos can be encrypted before private storage, subject to configured limits.
Family access planning
A possible Next Guardian and alternate can be recorded for future review; nomination does not grant present access or legal authority.
Guardian Chapters
Each verified keeper begins a new chapter while the prior guardian’s sealed history remains intact and attributable.
Verified succession
Identity, authority, conflicts, evidence and destination are reviewed in a restricted case before any release or transfer.
Provenance trail
Append-only provenance events and a tamper-evident audit chain record the important continuity decisions.
Respectful export
Authenticated export, correction, recovery and erasure requests follow privacy, legal-hold and retention safeguards.

OHP separates recognition, active service and heirloom provenance so private family records are never treated as a reward that disappears when spending pauses.
Recognition tier
Heirloom Member, Signature, Patron, Heritage Circle and Legacy Circle recognise the relationship over time. Legacy Steward is a private lifetime distinction; Founding Member is an owner-granted overlay.
Active Membership
Active Membership enables new stories, uploads, edits, eligible shop privileges and concierge services during the current Legacy Care period.
Preservation Mode
If Active Membership ends, existing saved and sealed records remain privately viewable. New editing, uploads and active privileges pause; the family memory is not deleted.
Provenance class
OHP Original Heirloom, OHP Registered Heirloom and Family Story Record remain clearly distinguished. An external item never becomes an OHP-sold piece through registration.
OHP Heirloom Rewards
OHP Heirloom Points are non-cash loyalty rewards. OHP Legacy Care Credit is a separate service credit. Neither is a carbon credit, and verified climate impact is recorded separately.

Safeguarding the family legacy
Security with human control.
The OHP Legacy Vault’s protection is implemented by the OHP Legacy Platform plugin; this theme does not move, copy or expose private OHP Legacy Vault data.
Owner-controlled access
Members sign in with their Member ID or email plus password. Jetpack Protect and OHP rate limiting remain in the login flow.
Private by default
Every OHP Legacy Vault query is authorised against the signed-in member, so a direct record or file link does not grant access by itself.
AES-256-GCM encryption
Private profile fields, timeline versions, Legacy Letters, Wishes, recipient details, request payloads and permitted file contents are encrypted before storage.
Tamper-evident sealing
Sealed timeline versions, Legacy Letters and Wishes receive timestamps, content hashes and signed seals that can be checked for integrity.
Recorded continuity
Security-sensitive events, Guardian Chapters and provenance changes are recorded for authorised review.
Family access planning
A nomination records future intent without silently creating a second owner or sharing today’s private OHP Legacy Vault.
Reviewed handover
Transfer and release requests are not automatically approved; OHP staff review the submitted pathway.
Recovery planning
Account recovery follows a protected request and verification process rather than bypassing the normal login controls.
Respectful export
Export, correction and data requests follow an authenticated, logged and administrator-reviewed workflow.
Backups, server hardening, data location, recovery testing and administrator MFA still depend on the production hosting and operating procedures. The OHP Legacy Vault should never be described as absolutely unbreakable.
